CRAFT, ELIZABETH “BETTY” ANNE

The passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Craft, 85, of Charters Settlement, NB, occurred on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born in Marysville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Ruby (Parsons) Beatty and the wife of the late Richard “Dick” Craft.

Betty is survived by her son, Tony Craft (Coleen) and daughter, Vicki Babineau (Bill) both of Charters Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Brad Babineau (Kelly) of Ottawa, ON, Lyndsay Babineau (Steve) of Okotoks, AB, Adriane Craft (Brad) of Charters Settlement, NB and Colton Craft (Tammy) of Hanwell, NB; great grandchildren, Courtney Babineau (Patrick) of Nova Scotia, Brianna Babineau of Ottawa, Haleigh and Ryan McDowell of Okotoks, AB, Ashton Craft of Douglas, NB and Veronica Hughes of Charters Settlement, NB; also survived by sister, Charlene Simeonoff of British Columbia; brothers, Frank Beatty (Georgie) of Fredericton, NB, David Beatty of King City, ON and Jerry Beatty (Leslie) of Ormstown, QC; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Roy Parsons and Charles Beatty; sisters, Mary Howard and Melvina Allen; sisters in law, Tanya Meunier and Rosa Beatty and brother in law, Gilbert Craft.

Betty’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren had a very special “Nanny Betty” and will remember many treasured hours spent with her.

Cremation has taken place and as per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
