Obituary of Heather Alice Faye Rolfe

ROLFE, HEATHER ALICE FAYE 

Heather Alice Faye Rolfe of Stanley, NB, passed away on April 17, 2020, at her home, Raven’s Hollow. Born on October 4, 1957, in Fredericton, NB, Heather was a proud Canadian Decorated Veteran. Heather's life was her family. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and selflessness. An avid hugger, Heather was creative, artistic and she displayed a rare joie de vivre. She loved everything about nature—from spending time by the water to collecting rocks and gemstones to watching clouds. She is loved and will be in our hearts always.

Heather is survived by her husband of over 30 years (Kevin); her sons, Bradley Colbourne (Jessica), Joey Rolfe (Jody), Dale Rolfe, Kevin "Blake" Rolfe (Julie); daughter, Madison Rolfe (Chris); brothers, James Alison (Cindy), Bruce Alison, Kevin Wiggins (Margaret); sisters, Sara Merrithew (John), Karen Boyd (Grant); grandchildren, Anya Taylor, Carson Rolfe and Jayden Rolfe; step-mother Carol Alison. She is predeceased by her mother Dorothy (Brewer) Alison-Stannard and her father George Alison.

Heather’s family would like to thank the palliative care doctors and extra-mural nurses for all their compassion and care—especially Derek Ryan, Chad Ford, and Heather's friend and care worker, Nancy Colford.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 6-8 pm.  A Celebration of Life for Heather, will take place at York Funeral Home T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel.  Family suggests masks be worn to protect the health of others; due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by invitation, on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
