Obituary of Harold Leroy Wilkins

WILKINS, HAROLD LEROY

The passing of Harold Leroy Wilkins, husband of the late Doris (Carlisle) Wilkins, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 11, 2020 at the Windsor Court Retirement Residence.  Born on March 25, 1928 in Fredericton, NB,  he was a son of the late John and Fannie (Haines) Wilkins. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 29 years.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Katherine Gotell (Gerry) of Charlottetown, PE; sons, John Wilkins (Martha) of Fredericton, NB, Ronald Wilkins (Susan) of London, ON; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Wilkins (Don Carson) of Fredericton, NB, Marilyn Harding (Ralph) of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Robert Wilkins (Georgie) of Fredericton, Elbridge Wilkins of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Harold was predeceased by his sisters, Violet Taylor and Fannie Gorman; brother, Peter Wilkins.

A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, at a later date.  A Private Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton.
