Tran, Thu Tam

The passing of Thu Tam Tran of Fredericton, NB, wife of Dat Van Tran, occurred peacefully with family on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on February 15, 1940 in Southern Vietnam,  she was the daughter of the late Thanh Duong  and Mai Tran. 

Thu Tam loved being outdoors and tending to her flower gardens.  We will forever be grateful for her will, strength and resolve to reunite our family.  Her courage and resilience are why we are here today.

Thu Tam is survived by her children, Michael Huu Duc (Thuy), Trong Duc (Janet), Peter Tan Duc (Cathy); grandchildren, Hannah, Owen, Emily and Daniel Phuoc.  

Besides her parents, Thu Tam was predeceased by her sister, Nguyet Cao of Portland, Oregon.
 

A Private Family Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anthony's Church, 603 Union St., Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 10 am with Father Monte Peters as celebrant.  Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date.
