BONE, AGNES MARY 

The passing of Agnes Mary Bone of Fredericton, NB, wife of Vernon Albert Lyle Bone, occurred on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on April 9, 1934 in Hoyt, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ernest G. and Agnes M. (Baird) Howe and adopted daughter of  the late Jean Sands. Agnes worked as a waitress at Joe's Diner.  She was Life Member of the Marysville Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15, enjoyed playing cribbage; she was the National Champion in 2012 in Alberta, and was also involved with the poppy campaign for many years. Agnes enjoyed gardening and bird watching. 

In addition to her husband, Agnes is survived by daughters, Bonita Horncastle (Brian) of Fredericton NB; Patricia Stennick of Medicine Hat, AB and Deborah Bone of Calgary, AB; grandchildren,  Kyle McNeil (Kristina) and Joshua Bone; great granddaughter, Kali McNeil; sisters, Bernice Murphy and Ida Spragg both of Fredericton, NB; several half brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Elise McNeil; son, Douglas Bone; sisters, Marguerite and Ruby Whittaker. 

There will be no visitation or services at her request.  Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Fredericton SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
