It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Aja Mary Grace Dempsey.  Born on August 16, 2004.  Aja passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB, at the tender age of 15.

Aja was the daughter of Anna Perkins, and Jonathan Dempsey.  Along with her parents, she leaves behind in mourning, her step mother, Lynn Perron; sisters, Brieanne, Jayla, Janelle, Anabelle, Nadia and Julia; her maternal grandparents, Charles Lorette and Shelly Keddy; paternal grandmother, Karen Dempsey; her nieces, nephews, and many friends; as well as her beloved cat, Billy.  Aja was predeceased by her brother, Joshua Dempsey; her grandfathers, Peter Perkins and Reginald Dempsey.

A Celebration of Life will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 1:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital-Six Link Family Fund.
