Obituary of Hartley 'Fred' Holland

 

HOLLAND, HARTLEY FRED

With great sadness we announce the passing of Fred, at his much loved St Pete Beach in Florida on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  He was born on April 11, 1944 in Fredericton, NB. Fred was employed as Chief Plumbing Inspector with the Province of NB for many years.  He retired in 2000 and enjoyed travelling, working on his hobby farm, attending auctions, and spending the winters in St Pete Beach.

 

Fred is survived by his wife and best friend, Wendy (Wall); two much loved sons, Peter Holland and Michael Holland and their mother, Susan Holland; his mother, Edwena Holland; two sisters, Dianne (Dwight) McCallum and Gail (Robin) Rickard; sister-in-law, Bonni Holland; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Fred was predeceased by his father, Hartley; his brother, Rick and his nephew, Timothy.

 

 

A Celebration of Fred's Life and Interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Taymouth Community Cemetery, IWK, Muscular Dystrophy or to the charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
