Obituary of Mildred Eileen Ring

RING, MILDRED EILEEN

 

With great sadness the family of Mildred Eileen Ring (Currie) announce her passing after a brief illness on February 27, 2020.  She was born in Fredericton, N.B. on April 25, 1931. She was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Boyd H. Ring nine years ago. She was also predeceased by her seven siblings and Boyd's siblings.

 

Mildred spent her life in Fredericton in the service of others, being very proud of her recognition as York Manor Volunteer of the Year and her Caring Canadian Award. She will be dearly missed by family, friends and neighbours.

 

She is survived by her children, Beth Daigle (Chris), Roger Ring (Denise), and Troy Ring (Twyla Porter); grandchildren, Jennifer Daigle, Sean Ring (Alixanna), Jamie Ring (Heidi), and Emily Daigle.  She is also survived by sisters in law, Hazel Currie and Sharon Ring, many nieces and nephews.

 

Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB.  There will be no visitation or service.  A private interment will be held in the spring.
