Drogi Wujku Jerzy, proszę przyjąć moje serdeczne wyrazy współczucia.
Today I found out about the death of my Aunt Rosemary. Very sad news. I met Rosemary in Canada in 1978. Then we saw each other several times during her visits to Poland with my uncle Jerzy, who is my father's brother. I remember Aunt Rosemary as a very warm, cordial and gentle person. Let her rest in eternal peace.
I extend sincere condolences to all her family.

Dearest Uncle Jerzy,
Sending love and hugs to you at this difficult time. I have so many fond memories of times spent with you and Aunt Rosemary throughout my life. You were both always so kind, loving and thoughtful to me and to my children, Eric, Monica, and Brooke.
I remember being so excited to go to your wedding when I was 5 years old. I always loved when you came to visit us on Wye Valley Rd., and our visits to you in Oshawa. I remember spending a week with you in Oshawa when I was 10, and my mother was away with her sister. Aunt Rosemary had one of those dolls with the big skirts sitting on the bed. The doll was about the size of a Barbie doll and because I didn't have one, she took off the skirt and gave me the doll. She then took me out and bought some Barbie clothes so I could play with the girls next door. You also had a great big (to me) stuffed penguin that had come with your new freezer, and you let me play with him as well.
As I got older, you showed the same care and kindness to my children when we visited you in the Laurentians during the summer. I also remember taking the kids on the train to visit during march break one year.
Aunt Rosemary, I am overwhelmed with memories and emotions right now. As I write this, I'm sitting in a library in Arizona after having tried unsuccessfully to get on a flight out of Phoenix yesterday to get to Montreal, and then to Fredericton to attend the celebration of your life. Such is the nature of employee travel, something for which I ama very grateful, but there are times when the disappointment can be heartbreaking. Unfortunately, flight times, connections, etc., don't allow for me to get to New Brunswick in time.
You have been there for me during some of the darkest and most painful times of my life. Your unwavering support when my father died; the sudden death of my brother Ken; and my brother Gord's untimely death meant so much to me. I'm forever grateful for your loving kindness and comfort during those times. I think I need to leave the library now and go somewhere to grieve and think about you.
Thank you for your sweet, loving thoughtfulness Aunt Rosemary. I have loved and admired you my whole life. God rest your beautiful soul.
Love, Terri xo

My memories of Aunt Rosemary from the time of my childhood are so fond. From the early days in Oshawa, later on in the Laurentians and then time spent in Fredericton. So many good summers spent with Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Jerzy that are unforgettable. Thank you for always being so generous and loving to your many nieces and nephews! Love, Patrick
