MUNN, YVONNE AGNES

The passing of Yvonne Agnes Munn of New Bandon, NB, wife of the late Perley Munn, occurred on February 12, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.  Born on June 1, 1936 in Charlottetown, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Maxwell and Alberta (Saulnier) Mullins. Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She was also a long-standing member of the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly and cherished her church family. She was a Sunday school teacher and youth leader in the past and was an avid reader of Christian literature and the bible and lived her life through her faith in God. She was a creative person who loved to cook, sew, embroider and make quilts which she shared with family and friends.   

Yvonne is survived by daughters, Susan Munn (Gerard Comeau) of New Bandon, NB Dorothy Munn (Frederick) of Doaktown, NB; sons, Jamie Munn (Alma) of St. George, NB, Patrick Munn (Sue) of New Bandon, NB, Richard Munn (Tammy) of Pennfield, NB, Perley Munn Jr (Denise Hathaway) of New Bandon, NB, Wesley Munn (Rose) of Black's Harbour, NB; sisters, Marie Clowater (Rickard), Isabelle Savoy (Paul Boudreau), Delphine Ford (late Billy); brothers, Francis Mullins (Viola), Daniel Mullins (Janice), Jerry Mullins (Elizabeth), Charlie Mullins (Susan); 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Munn; grandson Johnathon Munn; sisters, Joanne Robinson(late George), Anne Bass(late Charlie); brother, Clifford Mullins.

Arrangements are in the care of York Funeral Home's Miramichi Valley Chapel. Following Yvonne's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. Interment will take place at the McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove, NB at a later date followed by a celebration of life gathering. The family would like to thank the home care workers who provided Yvonne personal support and companionship throughout the past several years in her home. She cherished their friendship.  Additionally, they would like to thank the staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Palliative Care unit for their compassion, kindness and support.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Chalmers Foundation (Palliative Care).  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
