HILL, MARLYNE SANDRA 

The passing of Marlyne Sandra Hill of Fredericton, NB, wife of Wayne G. Hill, occurred on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at York Care Centre.  Born on October 23, 1943 in Sussex, NBshe was the daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel (Anderson) Stapleford.  Marlyne loved horses, collecting dolls, figurines and most important, doting on her grandchildren.

 

Marlyne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne G. Hill; sons, Scott Hill (Cara), Darren Hill and Patrick Hill (Kelly) all  of  Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jessica Hill (Ottawa, ON), Josh Hill (Calgary, AB), Alexandra Ross (Keefer), Lauren Hill, Makenzie Hill, Maddison Hill, Montana MacDonald and Kelsey MacDonald; great grandson, Leo Ross; brother, Jack Stapleford of Fredericton, NB. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Gary Stapleford.
 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 3-7 pmThe Funeral Service will take place at Nashwaaksis Baptist Church, 104 Edgewood Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 2 pm with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating.  Interment will take place in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Fredericton, NB, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to York Care Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
