Obituary of Warren Price
The passing of Warren Alfred Price, husband of Linda Price of Priceville, NB occurred on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, down by his camp that he loved so much. Warren was born on February 1, 1952 and was the son of Julia (Munn) Price and the late Sam Price. He was a member of the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly where he was an usher (a.k.a. The Candy Man).
In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Paula (Shawn) Carroll of Douglastown and Julie (Shawn) Carr of Priceville; his son, Constable Warren (Melissa) Price of Alberta; his grandchildren, Brandon and Cody Carroll, Abby and Noah Carr, Brooklyn and Autumn Price; his brothers, Erdie (Julie) Price and daughter, Savannah of Porter Cove and Gerald Price of Stanley; his sister, Rhonda Price of Edmonton; special sister in law, Janice Price and nephew, Shawn of Priceville; his uncles, Rev. Cole (Wanda) Price and Preston Price; his Aunt Queenie Price and Aunt Alice Long; his sisters in law, Nancy (Charlie) Rice, Rose (Pat) Hogan, Ann (Jerry) Pace and Shirley Craft; as well as several nieces and nephews. Warren was predeceased by his father, Sam Price; his very special brother, Wilfred Price; his Aunt Zelda Moore; his Uncle Howard Price and his grandparents, Chester and Lydia Price, Perley and Nancy Munn.
Warren was employed at Rocky Brook Camps for 30 plus years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, a super dad and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and there was nothing more important to him than his God and his family. He took great pride in his children and their achievements and was especially proud of “the boy” becoming an RCMP Officer.
Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 7-9 pm as well as Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.. A Funeral Service will be held from McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2 pm with Pastor Allison Cromwell officiating and Rev. Cole Price assisting. Interment will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the McNamee Pentecostal Youth Group or the charity of the donor’s choice.
