Obituary of Glenna Pollock

With sadness in their hearts, the family of Glenna Pearl (Pond) Pollock, wife of the late Carl Frederick Pollock, announces her passing on Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Glenna was born in Woodlands, New Brunswick on December 23, 1916 to the late Otis and Lottie Pond. Glenna is survived by her daughter, Barbara and son in law, James Dow of Dartmouth NS; daughters in law, Juanita Pollock and Nola Pollock both of Harvey Station; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters, Roberta Willet and Leota Henderson. Besides her husband and parents, Glenna was predeceased by her two sons, George and Donald; brother, Cecil Pond and sisters, Ruby Harvey, Greta Cookson, Della Donovan, Freda and Barbara Pond. Visitation will take place Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm at the United Pentecostal Church in Harvey Station. The Funeral Service will take place at the church on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2 pm. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the United Pentecostal Church Building fund in memory of Glenna. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
