Obituary of Jennie Hetherington

The passing of Jennie Glenna (Crouse) Hetherington of Zealand, NB, wife of the late John White, occurred on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on February 19, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Winslow and Laura Crouse. Jennie loved to knit. Jennie is survived by children, Willis White (Donna), Leslie White, Arnold White (Carolyn) and Steven White (Linda); several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jennie was the last member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her brothers, Ellsworth and Roy Crouse; sisters, Ella Brewer, Rita Brewer and Beulah Virga. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLoed Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11am with Pastor Ron Austin officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Floyd White, Barbara White, Michael White, Steven Lyons, Casey Butler and Angela Betts. Interment will take place in Stone Ridge Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Stone Ridge Community Cemetery Fund.
