Obituary of John Bourque

Bourque, John Laurie “Jack” The passing of John Laurie “Jack” Bourque of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Carol (Babington) Bourque, occurred on Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 27, 1934 in Minto, NB, Jack was a son of the late John and Mary (Coakley) Bourque. During his career with NB Power, Jack was Manager of the Energy Control Centre. Jack is survived by two sons, Jeff (Janice), Rod and his children Alex and Jordan, all of Fredericton, NB; two sisters, Eileen Jerome of Sarnia, ON and Mona Beaulieu of Minto, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Jack was predeceased by two brothers, Gerard and Murray; and one sister, Yvonne. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 3 pm. Interment will be in Red Bank Cemetery, Chipman, NB at a later date.
