Obituary of Myrna Foster

The passing of Myrna Nadeen Foster of Terraces on Cliffe, Fredericton, NB, formerly of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of the late Ralph Foster occurred on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 18, 1932 in Burtts Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Percy Brewer and Estella (Jones) Burtt. She was a life-long member of the Burtts Corner Church of Christ, a former Sunday School teacher and a member of the sewing circle. Myrna was a wonderful cook and quilt maker. She loved being with her family and never liked to miss a social event. Myrna is survived by her three children, Ed Foster (Peggy) of Victoria, BC, Sharon Billings (Conrad) of Burtts Corner, NB and Dale Foster of Fredericton, NB; two granddaughters, Carrie Young (Frank) of Ottawa, ON and Natasha Clark (Jason) of Fredericton, NB; three great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Brewer of Fredericton, NB. Besides her husband of fifty-seven years and her parents, Myrna was predeceased by her five brothers: Farrell Brewer, Eddie Brewer, Merlin Brewer, Russell Brewer and Lyle Burtt. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Burtts Corner Church of Christ on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2 pm with Pastor Dan Foreman and Pastor Graham Crandall officiating. Interment will take place in the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
