Obituary of Zelma Palmer

The passing of Zelma “Edith” Palmer formerly of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born on P.E.I on April 6, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (MacDougall) Palmer. Edith was an accountant clerk with the Canadian Air Force from 1954 until 1965 and then worked in a clerical job in Toronto until her retirement. Edith is survived by her sister, Greta Jack; niece, Brenda Embleton; sister-in-law, Janie Palmer and several other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Edith was predeceased by her siblings, Earl, Lorne and Claude Palmer;brother-in-law, Lewis Jack and sister-in-law, Marion Palmer. There will be no visitation and funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
