Obituary of Winston Watson

The passing of Winston “Bill” Arnold Watson of Fredericton, NB, husband of Sharon (Goodine) Watson occurred on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Medford, NB, he was the son of Edna (Lennon) Watson of Bath, NB and the late Lewis Watson. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1960-1963. Bill worked for NB Power for 33 years, retiring in 1996. Bill is also survived by his children, Tracey Johnston (Rob) of Florenceville, NB, Trevor Watson (Mary) and Tanya Ramsay (Steve) both of Fredericton, NB; his five grandchildren, Bradley and Nicholas Johnston, Courtney, Jansen and Madison Watson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 1-4 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Honourary Pallbearers will be Tom Robertson, Allen Parlee, Reid Watson, Walter MacLean, Harold Dykeman and Gary Smith. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation-Stem Cell Therapy or Cancer Research. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
