Obituary of Donald Brewer

The passing of Donald “Don” Perley Brewer, of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of the late Annabelle (Arbeau) Brewer occurred on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 29, 1934 in Zealand, NB, he was a son of the late Perley and Mary (Estey) Brewer. Don enjoyed playing cards, hunting, four wheeling and socializing. He was a member of the Burtts Corner Lions Club and affiliated with Burtts Corner Baptist Church. Donald is survived by his daughters, Patricia Lindsay (Richard) and Elizabeth Seaboyer (Kenny); sons, Rev. Terry Brewer of Bathurst, NB, Phillip Brewer (Christina) and Andy Brewer (Teri-Lynn); grandchildren, Barry Lindsay (Tracy), Melissa Wade (Matthew), Mallory MacChesney (Mark), Mitchell Seaboyer (Jennine) and Walter Norwood; great grandchildren, Annabelle, Sydney, Alexandra, Grace and Declan; sister, Agatha Roden; brothers, John Brewer (Blanche) and Mike Brewer (Pat); many nieces and nephews; special friend, Ray Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Madeline Merrithew and brother, Wid Brewer. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will take place in the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers are Bryan Crouse, Brice Morehouse, Benji Morehouse, Ken Seaboyer Sr., Dwayne Jones and Chad Staples.
