The passing of Doris Edna Kirkby of Fredericton, NB, wife of Wesley Kirkby occurred on Monday, January 21, 2013 in Fort McMurray, AB. Born on October 25, 1938 in Fredericton Junction, NB, she was the daughter of Clarence and Edith (Weir) Duplisea. Doris was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan, NB. She was also a member of T.O.P.S. In addition to her husband, Doris is survived by her daughters, Charlena Munn (Clinton MacKay) of Fort McMurray, AB and Beth Williams (Darrell) of Maine, USA; sons, Randy Munn (Vicki) of Fredericton, NB and Donnie Munn (Heather Hanson) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren, Mandi, Blake, Dustin, Maggie, Mark, Ross, Justine, Julia, Mackenzie, Eden, DJ, Kyle and Manny; great grandchildren, Summer, Morgan, Rylee, Farrah and Justice; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and first husband, Rev. Laurie Munn, she was predeceased by her son, Mark Munn; sisters, Margaret Miller and Frances Urquhart. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Capital Community Church on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Bruce Arsenault officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
