White, June Elizabeth The passing of June Elizabeth (Holmes) White of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Leonard White, occurred on December 31, 2012 at Shannex Nursing Home, Thomas Hall, Fredericton, NB. Born on June 13, 1934 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Theodora (Holmes) Haines. June enjoyed cooking, quilting, knitting, doing puzzles and talking about Jesus. She worked over the years raising her family. She worked outside the home at a shoe store, shoe factory, various grocery stores, cleaning homes, as well as helping to raise her grandkids. She raised german shepherds. June was a member of Journey Wesleyan Church. June is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Richard Stinson) Randall-Stinson of Amherst, NS, Marilyn Brewer of Fredericton, NB and their father Walter Randall (Verley); step-daughters, Jane (George) Dean of Barkers Point, NB, Laurie (Errol) James of Fort McMurray, AB, Susan (Timothy) Booker of Burtts Corner, NB; grandchildren, Robin (Chastity Murdock) Brewer and Grace Murdock, Jason (Marjorie) Brewer and Justin (Kayla Hunt) Brewer; great grandchildren, Rachel Brewer and her mom Angela Roberts-Laouini, Katelyn Brewer and Connor Brewer; step grandchildren and their families, Cherie (Joey Skier) Stinson, Ryan Stinson, Bradley Stinson, Angeline (Patrick) Rutter and children Nolan and Keegan, Alexia (James Seymour) Dean and daughter Brooklyn, Avery Dean, Jessica James and son Jayden, Devon (Bailie) James and daughter Alexis, Amy (Joey) Whalen and sons Spencer and Tyson, Lacey (Paul) Collier; brother-in-law, Kenny Whyte; sister-in-law, Lorraine Home; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her step father, Alonza Haines; son-in-law, Alden Brewer; brother, Eugene Hennigar; and favorite pet, Minnie. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2 pm with Pastor Matthew Maxwell officiating. Honourary Pallbearers for the service will be Robin, Jason and Justin Brewer, Timothy Booker, Paul Butterwick, Irene Damias, George Dean, Tom Egers, Brenda LeJeune, Caroline Seely, Richard Stinson and Leslie Upton. Interment will take place in Keswick Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
