Obituary of Cecilia Valiquette

Valiquette, Cecilia Anne The passing of Cecilia Anne (Fleming) Valiquette of Stanley, NB, wife of the late Daniel Joseph Valiquette occurred on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, NB. Born on October 19, 1935 in Allan’s Island, NL, she was the daughter to the late Sylvester and Theresa (Hepditch) Fleming. Cecilia was a homemaker and a child care worker. Cecilia was survived by her daughters, Joanne Valiquette of Fredericton, NB, Susan Valiquette of Kamloops, BC and Michelle LaCroix (Norm) of Winnipeg, MN; son, Robert Valiquette (Laura) of Stanley, NB; grandchildren, Krystal, Jason, Alexandra, Chantal, Daniel, Matthew and Vincent; great grandson, Edison; sisters, Annie Benteau (Dave) of Torbay, NL, Mary Donnely (Robert) of Torbay, NL and Blanche Harnett (William) of Lamaline, NL; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lincoln, NB, on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 12 noon with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Reception will follow at the church. Interment will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Lincoln, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
