Obituary of Elizabeth Humble

The passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Arlene (Hamilton) Humble, wife of the late William Humble, occurred on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Born on March 1, 1932 in Penniac, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Bubar) Hamilton. Betty enjoyed bowling, loved cats, gardening and family gatherings. Betty is survived by her brother, Allen Hamilton; sister-in-law, Marion Hamilton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Wetmore; brothers, Edgar and Winston Hamilton and nephew, Carl Hamilton. Although there will be no visitation by the request of the family; a Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday November 6, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Peter Sherwood officiating. Pallbearers will be Greg Hamilton, Gerry Hamilton, Duane Hamilton, Steve Clements, Barry Williams and George Spilman. Interment will take place at Penniac United Church Cemetery, Penniac, NB.
