Obituary of Bonita Brideau

The passing of Bonita Elaine Brideau of McGivney, NB, wife of Stanley Brideau occurred on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 19, 1946 in McGivney, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lila (Peterson) Thibodeau. Bonita was an avid Bingo player. In addition to her husband, Bonita is survived by daughters, Barb Brideau of Moncton, NB and Brenda (Hazen) Brideau of Fredericton, NB; sons, Daniel (Nicole) Brideau of Salisbury, NB, Jimmy (Shannon) Brideau of McGivney, NB and Elvis (Nancy) Brideau of Saint John, NB; 17 grandchidren; sisters, Nancy (Glen) Hughes of Fredericton, NB, Debbie Thibodeau of Portage Vale, NB and Linda (Eugene) Connors of Blackville, NB; brothers, Junior (Peggy) Thibodeau of Sussex, NB, Tony (Coleen) Thibodeau of Penniac, NB, Clifford (Mary) Thibodeau of Upper Keswick Ridge, NB, Eric (Bonnie) Thibodeau of Fredericton, NB and Joey (Theresa) Thibodeau of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant sister, Doreen and sisters, Diane and Marie Thibodeau. Visitation will take place at South Portage Baptist Church on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 12 noon followed by a funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Pat McAloon officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Daniel, Jimmy, Elvis and Michael Brideau, Glen Hughes and Lorne Abbott. Interment will take place in McGivney Community Cemetery.
