Obituary of Veronica James

The passing of Veronica Irene (Fullerton) James of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 27, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hilton “Bill” and Pat (Townsend) Fullerton. Veronica was an avid reader and Blue Jays Fan; she also loved a good game of crib and enjoyed many a game of double solitaire with her Aunt Betty. She had a real green thumb and was well known for her preserves. Veronica will be remembered for being a very kind and loving person to everyone. Veronica was a loving mother to her children, Jamie James (Rio Cameron) of Fredericton, NB and Melissa James (Mike White) of St. Stephen, NB; devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, Zachary, Tristan, Bryce and Zoë; brothers, Bill (Cheryl) Fullerton of Summerside, PE and Tim (Michelle) Fullerton of Miramichi, NB; special aunt and uncle, Betty and Percy Amos; she was the proud aunt to nieces and nephew, Lee Anne, Angie, Teri and Jon. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann James. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 1 pm with Father David E. Mercer officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Allen, Alfred and Hilton Amos, Kirk Williams, Gary Fullerton and Jon Fullerton; Honourary Pallbearers are Roger Hoben, Bonnie Culligan, Ruth Russell, Katherine Sullivan and Zachary James. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or Meals on Wheels Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
