Obituary of Terri Hersey

Hersey, Terri Lynn (July 18, 1970- October 13, 2012) It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Terri Lynn Hersey, age 42, announces her passing following a brief illness on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Helen Dale (Anthony) Hersey and the late James H. Hersey. Besides her mother, Terri Lynn is survived by her son, Matthew Holland and his father, Brian Holland of Tay Creek, NB; brother, Dale Hersey (Susan Guitard) of Hanwell, NB; niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, several cousins and many friends including, Donnie McCoy. She also leaves behind her four cherished pets, her little dog, cats and a ferret. Terri Lynn was a great animal lover. Educated in Fredericton Schools, she held jobs at various places. Terri Lynn was a bubbly person, full of personality, humor and wit. She always saw the good side of her friends and was so kind to everyone. She was a Christian with faith who supported all denominations. Terri Lynn enjoyed flowers and planting. She enjoyed her fun times with her family, especially her son, Matthew. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 7 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery at a later date.
