Obituary of Carol Storey

The passing of Carol Mona Storey of Boiestown, NB, occurred on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Central NB Nursing Home. Born on June 18, 1940 in Antigonish, NS, she was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Mary Florence (Sampson) Arbeau. She was a Rural Mail Carrier for Canada Post and had also worked at several restaurants and the Marysville Cotton Mill. Carol accepted Jesus as her Saviour on April 5, 2006 and was a member of the McNamee Pentecostal Assembly. She was a member of the Boiestown Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Lions Club. Carol won numerous trophies for darts and broomball; she also loved to hunt and fish. Carol is survived by her daughter, Penny (Paul) Ferguson; grandson, Joel Ferguson; sisters, Joan (Wayne Wilson) Arbeau, Gail O’Donnell and Donna Arbeau; brothers, Gary Arbeau, Roger (Melanie) Arbeau and Donnie (Wendy) Arbeau; first husband, Frank Ellis; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her second husband, Leon Storey; common-law-partner, Alfred Amos and brothers, Donald and Brian. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home Chapel, New Bandon on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 1 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Mr. Erdie Price officiating and Pastor Graham Lyons assisting. Interment will take place in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the McNamee Pentecostal Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
