Obituary of Kathryn Manuel

The passing of Kathryn Holland Manuel of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, October 05, 2012 at Shannex-Thomas Hall, Fredericton, NB, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Burden) Schofield. She was a member of Christ Church Cathedral. Kathryn was a Purchasing Agent for the Victoria Public Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was a member of Celestial Temple #19 Pythian Sisters. Kathryn enjoyed drives through the woods and cottaging at French Lake. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Howland of Fredericton, NB; granddaughter, Leigh Ann Brewer (Tim) of Fredericton, NB; great granddaughter, Katlyn Brewer; sister, Elizabeth Smith of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and special cousin, Pauline Mahoney of Fredericton, NB. Although there will be no visitation or funeral service by Kathryn’s request; a private graveside service will take place at Hermitage Cemetery with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Christ Church Cathedral Restoration Fund or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
