Obituary of Wayne Grant

The passing of Wayne Fraser Grant of Fredericton, NB, husband of Marie (Lint) Grant occurred on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Born on February 15, 1957 in Taymouth, NB, he was the son of Fraser and Marion (Bell) Grant. He worked in the Hardware Department at Canadian Tire. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking, playing cards, bowling and most of all he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents and wife, Wayne is survived by his son, Scott Grant of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Barb Flinn (John) of Taymouth, NB and Donna Bateman (Doug) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Evans. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Sara Palmater officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Mike Lint, Brent Lint, Gary Foster, Danny Evans, Grant Evans and John Flinn. Interment will take place in Taymouth Community Cemetery.
