Obituary of David Stewart

The passing of David “Dave” Gilbert Stewart of Lincoln, NB, husband of Diana (LeBlanc) Stewart occurred on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 23, 1955 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Henry and Jacqueline (Estey) Stewart. Dave was a retired school bus driver after 32 years of service with District 18.
In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by his step children, Joanne Barker and Lisa Baird (Rod); grandchildren, Christopher, Allisa, Jessie, Savannah and Noah; sister, Dianne Collett (Harold); brothers, Leon Stewart (Glenna) and Toni Stewart all of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Richard Bragdon officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Joe Stafford, Allison MacPherson, Rick Aubin, Mike Veno, Alfred and Allan Amos. Interment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
