Obituary of Ralph Greene

With great sadness, the family wishes to announce the unexpected passing of Ralph Oliver Greene, husband of Wilda (Hunter) Greene of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on Saturday, September 08, 2012. Born on November 27, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jean (Norrad) Greene. Ralph was parts manager with Atlantic Cat for 48 years. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by his sons, Troy (Vicki) and Roderick Greene; grandson, Matthew; siblings, Phyllis Camken (Ken), Bev Greene (Freda) Arthur Greene, Rhona O’Hara (Alton), Connie Campbell (Jim), Brenda Gullison (Laurie) and Neil Greene; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Paul Green, and his sisters, Mildred Sidebottom and Valerie O’Hara. Ralph valued spending time with his grandson, immediate family, as well his extended Hunter family. He also enjoyed playing music, games, and sports. He was known for his great sense of humour, tireless work ethic and his kindheartedness. No formal funeral service will take place but a time to remember Ralph will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
