Obituary of Byron Bamford

The passing of Byron Bamford, of Fredericton, NB, gentle and loving husband of Sylvia (Kinney) Bamford, occurred on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 18, 1940, he was a son of the late Harold and Winnifred (Connell) Bamford. Byron graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He will be greatly missed by his family and many children who knew him, through his working career as a teacher and his amusement business. In addition to his wife, Byron is survived by his sons, Corey Bamford of Fredericton, NB, Christopher Bamford of Vancouver, BC; two brothers, Harold Bamford (Teri) of Gatineau, QC, Joe Bamford (Fatima) of Mactier, ON; many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Private Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.
