Obituary of Karl Amos
The passing of Karl Malcolm Amos of Fredericton, NB, husband of Deborah “Debbie” Amos, occurred on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 15, 1951 in NB, he was the son of the late Calvin and Helen (Manzer) Amos. Karl was a Firefighter with the City of Fredericton for over 32 years. He volunteered at the Jemseg Fire Department. Karl was an avid hunter; he loved his camp at Grand Lake and boating.
In addition to his wife, Karl is survived by his two sons, Kevin James (Brittany) Amos of Fredericton, NB and Shawn Malcolm Amos (Kate McLean) of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Jasmine Marie Amos and Breona Amos; sister, Sheila MacFarlane (Dr. Phillip) of Maine, USA and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating.
