The passing of Barbara Joan Boyce of Penniac, NB, wife of the late Gordon Boyce occurred on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 23, 1930 in New Hampshire, USA, she was the daughter of the late Glenna (Pond) Kendrick. She worked at the Co-op Dairy. Barbara had a love for all animals.
Barbara is survived by her grandson, Patrick (Natalie) Clayton; granddaughter, Julie (Jon) Roe and Jon’s parents, Robin and Carole Roe; great grandchildren, Craig and Matt Allen, Emily Roe and Madison Clark; brother, Billy Kendrick (Mavis) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her mother and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Glenda Haines.
A Graveside Service will take place at Penniac United Church Cemetery on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Laurie D. Fenerty officiating. The family wishes to say a special thank you, to the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit, for their care.
