Obituary of Marion Coughlan

Coughlan, Marion Letitia The passing of Marion Letitia Coughlan of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Wilson Coughlan occurred on Friday, June 29, 2012 at the York Care Centre. Born on July 29, 1928 in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Odbur and Letitia (Moore) Broad. She was a hairdresser. Marion was a member of the Hairdresser Association and a Past President of the Nashwaaksis Lionettes, she also chaired various committees. Marion is survived by her daughter, Kathy Nowlan; sisters-in-law, Edith Broad of Woodstock, NB and Sadie Broad of Hamilton, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Marion was predeceased by her sister, Madeline and brothers, Charles, Fred, Murray and Eugene. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery.
