Obituary of Ronald Stafford

The passing of Ronald James Stafford of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Ella Mae (Brewer) Stafford occurred on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 27, 1923 in Marysville, NB, he was the son of the late Bernard and Amanda (Lyons) Stafford. Ronald was a D Day Veteran of WWII, having served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He worked in sales and the warehouse for Wilfruit. Ronald is survived by his sons, Terry (Ann) of Hillborough, NB, Ron (Linda) of Fredericton, NB, Jerry (Danica) of Blackville, NB, Fraser (Betty) of Fredericton, NB and David (Joyce) of Fredericton, NB; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Millett) Lyons, Joan Lyons, Jean Lyons, Helen Watts and Frances Goodspeed; brother Dale (Grace); many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Ronald was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and foster son, James Moulaisson. Although there will be no visitation or funeral service; a Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery.
