Obituary of Norbert Elliott

The passing of Norbert Gibson Elliott of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Pauline (Brien) Elliott occurred on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 30, 1920 in Marysville, NB, he was the son of the late Leander and Zella (Gibson) Elliott. He was a veteran of WWII. Norbert worked at the Marysville store as a meat cutter and later was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and four wheeling. Norbert is survived by his daughter, Connie (Herman) Scholten of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren, Leigh and Craig (Megan); one great granddaughter, Cassie; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Norbert was predeceased by his brother, Odbur Elliott. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery.
