Obituary of Margaret Gullison

The passing of Margaret Anne (Dorcas) Gullison of Williamsburg, NB, wife of Leonard Gullison, occurred on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on December 21, 1925 she was a daughter of the late James and Edith (Clarkson) Dorcas. Margaret enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden. In addition to her husband, Margret is survived by her children, James of Williamsburg, NB, Haliegh (Beverley) of Giants Glen, NB, Terrance (Line) of Vancouver, BC, Timothy (Agnus) of Williamsburg, NB, Rodney (Shawna) of Boiestown, NB, Lori Lee Gullison (Stephen) of Stanley, NB; and David of Williamsburg, NB; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by two sons, Donald and Glen Gullison; brother, Dawn Dorcas and sister-in-law, Kaye Dorcas. There will be no visitation by request of the family. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 1 pm with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at the Cross Creek Baptist Church. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick would be appreciated by the family.
