Obituary of Winnie Duguay

The passing of Winnifred “Winnie” Rose (Anderson) Duguay of Fredericton, wife of the late Charles “Charlie” Edward Duguay, occurred on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 24, 1943 in Kingsclear, NB she was the daughter of the late Burns and Tilley (Regan) Anderson. Winnie enjoyed every opportunity she had to spend with her entire family. Winnie is survived by her children, Fred (Dawn) Edney, Chris (Susan) Edney and Marty Duguay (Angie); step children, Jason Duguay (Lisa), Chuck Duguay and Troy Duguay (Denise); grandchildren, Karley Duguay, Lindsey, Katie and Keith Edney, Drew, Scott and Mark Campbell; siblings, George Anderson (Joyce), Millen Anderson (Joan), Melvin Anderson (Anne), Kenny Anderson (Denise), Mary O’Hara, Darlene Goodine, Lillian Wall, Charlotte Hay (Ronnie) and Juanita Green (Linden) ; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Thurman and Ardie Anderson, Audrey O’Hara and Flora Douglass. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
