Obituary of Howard Corrier

The passing of Howard Corrier, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Paulette Corrier, occurred on Friday, April 1, 2011 at his residence. Born on April 17, 1938 he was a son of the late John and Gertrude (Malley) Corrier. Howard was employed with the City of Fredericton until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by daughters, Linda of Sunbury, ON and Debbie of Fredericton, NB; sons, Howard (Chris) of Branford, ON, Wayne Corrier of Maugerville, NB and Troy Corrier of Fredericton, NB; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mona Corrier of Lorne , NB, Ernestine Hayes of Williamsburg, NB, Eva Lavigne of Lincoln, NB and Shirley O’Brien of Royal Road, NB; brother, Leon Corrier (Judy) of Durham, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by his first wife, Delia Bennett; one grandson; sister, Carmelle Comeau; brothers, Raymond, Preston and Stewart Corrier. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Dunstan’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 12 Noon with Father Gerald M. White as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
