Obituary of Richard Corbin

The passing of Richard Angelo Corbin of Porter Cove, NB, husband of Donna (Stapledon) Clark, occurred on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 25, 1943 in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Sereno and Stella (Demmons) Corbin. He was the owner and operator of Corbin Paving and Asphalt Co. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his step children, Alexandra and Christopher; sisters, Christina Newman of Fredericton, NB and Rose Ann Corbin of Minto, NB; brothers, Robert Corbin (Betty) of Edmonton, AB and Gamaliel “Pete” Corbin of New Brook, AB; several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Sereno and Valentino. At Richard’s request cremation will take place. There will be no visitation; a Celebration of Life Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11 am; followed by a reception at Ludlow/Porter Cove Recreation Center at 2 pm.
