Obituary of Marven Hutchins

The passing of Marven Joseph Hutchins of Burtts Corner, NB, husband of Susan (Foss) Hutchins occurred on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 13, 1943 in Cumberland Bay, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Brown) Hutchins. Marven was employed with York Steel. He was a member of the Burtts Corner Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Marven is survived by his daughter, Miriam Hutchins; grandchildren, Jesse, Marissa, Paige, Carleigh Rae, and Cole Hutchins; sisters, Doreen Langin, Glenna Phillips (Malcolm), Jean Hutchins and Geraldine Fairweather (Alvin); mother-in-law, Margaret “Peggy” Hut and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Carey Hutchins and father-in-law, Raymond Foss. Although there will be no visitation; a graveside service will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Lloyd Pangburn and Rev. Peter Smith officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
