Obituary of Claude Knight

Knight, Claude Colwell, 90, passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on September 26, 2011, after a brief illness. He was born on June 2, 1921 in Whites Cove, the son of the late Samuel and Gertrude Knight. Claude was a life long resident of Whites Cove. He is survived by two brothers, Holly and Scott of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Arthur and sisters, Irene Hetherington, Mila Knight, Dorothy Dykeman and Jean Green. As per Claude’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, a committal service will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Anglican Church Cemetery in Whites Cove on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 3 pm with Rev. Lisa Pacarynuk officiating. Donations may be made to Saint Johns Cemetery Fund or to a charity of your choice. The arrangements are in care of York Funeral Home, Fredericton. Please join the family, at the home of Gert Bennett, 5145 Route 105, Whites Cove for refreshments after the service.
