Obituary of Jean Foreman
The passing of Jean Marolyn (Estey) Foreman, formerly of Burtts Corner, NB, wife of the late Neil Foreman, occurred on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on May 27, 1933 in Burtts Corner, NB, she was a daughter of the late George and Diva (Knights) Estey. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, A.C.W. Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Burtts Corner Lioness.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Blaney (Paul) of New Maryland, NB and Nancy Daley (Ian) of Truro, NS; two sons, Keith Foreman (Jill) and Robert Foreman (Paulette) all of Burtts Corner, NB; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Eileen Ames of Fredericton, NB; daughter-in-law, Joanne Brown-Pugh; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Donald and Joey Foreman; her sisters, Megan McKeil, Marjorie Hill, Josephine Brewer and Elizabeth Rees and her brothers, Sydney, George and John Estey.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6-9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 2 pm with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe officiating. Interment will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
