Obituary of Linda Melvin

The passing of Linda Maxine Melvin of Durham Bridge, NB, wife of Kenneth Stewart, occurred on Monday, November 28, 2011 at home. Born on May 9, 1947 in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Sterling and Florence (Corkum) Cook. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children, Connie Banks (Oscar), Kim Melvin; step sons, Dean Stewart and Chris Stewart all of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jessica, Kaitlyn and Johnny Banks, Brandon and Kyle Melvin, Justin Arbeau, Cassie and Addison Stewart all of Fredericton, NB; great grandchildren, Logan and Corey; sister, Sandra Hill; brother, Brian Cook; nieces, nephews and several great nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Scott Melvin and brother-in-law, Archie Hill. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1 pm with Archdeacon John T. Sharpe. Interment will take place in the St. James the Greater Anglican Church Cemetery, Ludlow, NB.
