Obituary of John Henderson

The passing of John James “Jack” Henderson of Royal Road, NB, husband of Vivian (White) Henderson, occurred on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 29, 1924 in Royal Road, NB, he was the son of the late Robert and Ruth (Saunders) Henderson. Jack was a farmer. He enjoyed playing his guitar and harmonica. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his sister, Elma (Clarence) White of Burtts Corner, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Doris Chapman, Jennie Griffiths, Evelyn Anderson and Ethel Thomas; brothers, Eldon, Lloyd and Douglas Henderson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 2 pm with Lic. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will take place at Burtts Corner Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Church of the Nazarene.
