Obituary of Lillian Doucette

The passing of Lillian (Hickey) Doucette, wife of the late Aurele Doucette of Marysville, NB, occurred on Friday, November 25, 2011 in Camrose, AB. Born on January 18, 1922 in Belledune, NB, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Laura (Russell) Hickey. Lillian was a housewife and a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Marysville, NB. Lillian is survived by one son, Gary (Doris) Doucette of St. Albert, AB; four daughters, Bonnie (Byron) Boyd of Camrose, AB, Susan (David) Storr of Grafton, NB, Peggy (Russell) Rehaume of Peace River, AB, and Lori (Ernie) Hirschfeld of Peace River, AB; sisters, Bonnie (Charles) Monaghan of St. Stephen, NB, Alma (Eric) Chapman of Montreal QC, Irma (Gordon) Hogge of St. Stephen, NB, Greta Blair of Fredericton, NB, Betty Simms of Montreal QC and Anne (John) Flinn of Fredericton, NB; brothers, Patrick (Norma) Hickey of Jacquet River, NB and Charles (Shirley) Hickey of Belledune, NB; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Lillian was predeceased one infant brother and infant sister; sister, Doris Hickey and great granddaughter, Jillian Storr. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, December 01, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Friday, December 02, 2011 at 11 am with Father Aaron Knox as celebrant. Pallbearers for the service will be Byron Boyd, Stacie Storr-Piche, Scott Flinn, Tobey Clendenning, Donald and Dale Doucette. Interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
