The passing of John Hayward MacLean of Fredericton, NB, husband of Sandra (Hartford) MacLean occurred on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 7, 1958 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Lester and Grace (McArthur) MacLean. He enjoyed building things. John loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a very laid back guy.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, Melanie MacLean, Jennifer MacLean-Munn (John) and Christopher MacLean (Ashley); 10 grandchildren; siblings, Larry MacLean (Anita), Ernie MacLean, Ricky MacLean (Ann), Ann-Marie McGeehan (Mark) and David MacLean (Chandra); several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Harold Jenkins officiating. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Foundation-Oncology Unit. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
