Obituary of Danny Jones

It is with much regret and heartache that the family of Danny Hartley Jones, of Richibucto Road, NB, announces his passing on Sunday, November 06, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 26, 1956 in Woodstock, NB, he was the eldest son of Hartley and Florence (Harris) Jones of Noonan, NB. Danny’s complications from Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia ended his life much too soon. He worked for Fraser and Son Trucking. Danny loved spending time with his grandsons. He also enjoyed four wheeling, fishing and camping. Danny will be remembered for his easy smile and the way he liked to laugh and joke with everyone. He and Joeanne were inseparable and after 27 years together anyone who knew them could see their love for each other was strong and each day started and ended with a kiss and a hug. In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Joeanne “Dolly” (Estey) Jones and his son, Jody Jones and grandchildren, Tyler, Zachery and Joseph; daughter, Melissa Woodworth (Paul) and grandson, Logan Clowater; sister, Nancy Dickinson (Larry) and their children, Emily and Scott; sister, Donna Estey (Ray) and their children, Clint and Brock; his brother, Darren. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Harold Jenkins officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Kenny Dillon, Dale Brewer, Larry King, Mark MacLean, Ronnie Fraser and Larry Dickinson. Interment will take place in Zealand Community Cemetery, Zealand, NB.
