Obituary of Therese Muise
It is with great sadness that the family of Thérèse (Haché) Muise announces her death at the Shannex Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the age of 81. Born in Pont la France, NB on April 1, 1930, she was the spouse of the late, George “Abby” Muise; daughter of Alexander A. Brideau and Marceline Richardson. Thérèse leaves behind her six children, Ovilda (Aldoria) Brideau of Orono, ON, Lucienne “Lucy” (Walter) Keenan of Burton, Rita (Steven) Thomas of Burton, Yvette Haché of Fredericton, Donald (Shirley) Haché of Calgary, AB, Linda (Gerald) Robichaud of Dieppe and a step son, Mike (Jackie) Muise of Oromocto. She had 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren and 11 step great-grandchildren. She leaves behind three sisters and two brothers, Marthe Saulnier, Odile Savoie of Sheila, NB and Souveraine (Edmond) LeBouthillier of Pont Lafrance, NB, Dosithe (Dorilla) Brideau of Fredericton and Venance (Marielle) Brideau of Tracadie, 16 step-siblings along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; step-father, Edmond Duguay; first husband, Adelard Haché; second husband, George (Abby) Muise; son, Lucien (Luke) Haché; step-son, David Muise; step-daughter, Alice Muise; sister, Rita LaRose; brothers, Arthur, Alphee, Francois, Simon and Yvon. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00am with Father Donald Savoie and Father Monte Peters as celebrants. Pallbearers for the service will be Michael and Marc Brideau, Matthew Keenan, Edmond Duclos, Fernand Brideau and Serge LeBouthillier Interment will take place at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association, Diabetic Association or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
